Dynamic Associates Reach Record Safety Milestone 

Freeport, PA -- The Associates at Dynamic Manufacturing reached a significant milestone for their long-standing safety record.  The team was able to reach 730 days or 2 full years of safe working conditions without a workplace injury at the close of business on June 2, 2011.  The previous safety record for Dynamic was 408 days without a workplace injury, which was achieved immediately before the current record.   With a growing team population, the addition of new equipment and increased business levels over the past 2 years, this latest milestone is truly a noteworthy accomplishment.

Despite doubling the staff population over the past year, both new and experienced associates have been able to work safely.  The reward for this achievement of 365 days without a work-related medical claim was a steak dinner with all of the fixings held on Friday, June 24, 2011, and was served during the lunch break.  The associates have also enjoyed a pizza lunch for every 60-day milestone reached. 

Dynamic has an active safety committee which conducts monthly audits and meets every month.  Each new associate completes safety training and MSDS training.  The team strives to ensure the safety of its greatest resource, the associates, in the commitment to continuous quality improvement.

Examples of some typical hazards found at Dynamic include burns from the soldering equipment, extraneous material and or chemicals in eyes (why associates wear safety glasses), a heavy item dropped on foot, cuts due to sharp tools, etc. 

Workplace safety will always be a priority at Dynamic Manufacturing and the team is working safely day-by-day to reach the 3-year milestone.
